Modern Slavery Statement

Our business

The Empresaria Group is committed to the prevention of all forms of slavery, servitude, child labour and human-trafficking.

As a global staffing business, we supply temporary, permanent and offshore recruitment services across key sectors including:

  • Technical and Industrial
  • Executive Search
  • IT, Digital and Design
  • Healthcare
  • Professional Services
  • Aviation Services
  • Retail

Our brands operate in over 20 different countries and adhere to high ethical standards in line with local laws and Group policies.

Our policies and procedures

Our Modern Slavery Policy, Corporate Responsibility Statement and Whistleblowing Policy reflect our commitment towards the elimination of unethical practices.

Our temporary workers are identified by our staff and enhanced checks are performed on vulnerable workers and those wishing to operate through an intermediary company such as an umbrella company or personal service company.

Our businesses receive centralised guidance and support and maintain membership with a range of sector-specific trade and professional bodies including REC and APSCo.

Improving supply chain transparency

We believe that we operate a supply chain with a very low inherent risk of slavery and human trafficking potential. Nonetheless, we are taking positive steps to improve supply chain transparency and raise awareness amongst our staff as part of our ongoing commitment towards the elimination of unethical practices and compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Empresaria's slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ended 31 December 2017.
